The quality of your film once transferred digitally is comprised of two factors: the original quality of the film, and the process used to convert it. Because there are many different methods to digitizing film, prices can vary from production facility to production facility.
Papa Productions will digitally transfer your film into a DVCPROHD 1080p codec. This provides enhanced color and a crisp, sharp picture. Your film is then processed on Avid Media Composer where qualities such as color, gamma, white balance, and contrast are adjusted, resulting in an enhancement of the picture quality. Because there is no sound, we add music to your films. We suggest having your films finalized in a file format, such as high definition MPEG4 (.mp4) files that can be delivered to you on a USB flash drive. You can then save additional backups to your computer hard drive and share the files with friends and family. Hi quality, low file size, easy playback and easy management. We can also provide you with a DVD or Blu-ray disc.
There is no set up fee or additional fees. We can transfer 1 reel, or 1,000’s of reels.
